Privacy Policy

Plain-English first, formal second: we collect what you send us through the inquiry form, basic analytics about site usage, and nothing exotic. We use it to answer you and improve the site, we never sell it, and this page explains all of it in detail.

1. Who we are

This website, strategiclandpurchases.com ("the Site," "we," "us"), is operated by Strategic Land Purchases, a land acquisition and sales business serving Florida, the wider United States, and select Central American markets. This policy describes the information the Site collects, why, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

2. Information you provide directly

When you submit our inquiry/guestbook form, you provide the information you type: typically your name, email address, optionally a phone number, your area of interest, and the message describing land you seek or own. This information is transmitted to us by our form-processing provider (see Section 5) and delivered to our business email, where it is used for exactly one purpose: reading and personally answering your inquiry, and continuing that correspondence if you engage with us. Providing information is always voluntary; the cost of not providing it is simply that we cannot reply.

3. Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, the Site's hosting and analytics infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device category, pages visited, referring pages, and timestamps. We use this data in aggregate to understand what content is useful and to keep the Site functioning and secure. We do not use this data to personally identify casual visitors, and we do not combine it with inquiry data to build profiles.

4. Cookies

The Site aims to run with minimal cookies. Where cookies or similar technologies are present, they exist for basic functionality and aggregate analytics rather than advertising. We do not operate third-party advertising trackers on this Site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; the Site remains fully readable without them.

5. Third-party processors we rely on

We use a small set of reputable service providers to operate: a form-processing service (Web3Forms) that relays your inquiry to our email; website hosting and content-delivery infrastructure; and standard email service for correspondence. Each processor receives only what its function requires (your form submission, or standard server logs) and operates under its own published privacy commitments. We choose providers on reliability and restraint, and we do not authorize any of them to use your information for their own marketing.

6. What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with data brokers or marketers. We do not enroll you in newsletters you didn't request, and any future mailing you might join will be explicit opt-in with working unsubscribe. The economics of our business are land and reputation โ€” your inbox is not our product.

7. How long we keep information

Inquiry correspondence is retained as ordinary business email for as long as it remains relevant to an active or plausible future conversation, and consistent with legal and tax record-keeping obligations where a transaction occurs. If you'd like your inquiry history deleted, ask through the contact page and we will delete it unless a completed transaction requires retention of specific records.

8. Your rights and choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccuracies, or request deletion as described above. Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy statutes (including, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws such as California's) have the rights those laws provide, and we honor reasonable requests in their spirit regardless of your jurisdiction. To exercise any right, use the contact page; we respond to verified requests within a reasonable period, typically 30 days.

9. Security

Inquiry data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and rests in commercial-grade email and hosting infrastructure with access limited to the principals of the business. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot warrant absolute security, but we limit collection to what we need โ€” the strongest privacy protection available to any website is simply holding less.

10. Children

The Site is intended for adults engaging in real-estate matters and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States and information is processed in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere โ€” including from Costa Rica or Nicaragua in connection with our international markets โ€” you understand your information is transferred to and handled in the U.S. under this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes first, with an updated effective date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top of the policy. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Effective date: August 1, 2026. Questions about this document: use the contact page.
